American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.

Hours are published for 5 days a week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–8 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday, Tuesday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Brooklyn is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Okay, I was desperately trying to check this place out, and I finally made it there around 2–3ish. Wow, the egg tarts sell out FAST! The only flavors left were raspberry and yuzu, so I got the raspberry, and it was amazing. Instead of trying another flavor, I decided to get the ice cream too. I tried the corn soft serve, and it was so good! I’d def go back. Especially on the weekends, get there early! There’s a huge line, and things sell out really fast!!

Really excellent. As good as Cafe Panna and maybe even a tad better because it's not as busy and not as viral. Tarts, soft-serve, and service were all excellent!! We the chocolate knafah which is like a Dubai chocolate soft serve with pistachio ice cream. This was excellent with the crunchy bits and soft-serve ice cream. There were chucks of chocolate layered in here as well. The tomato 🍅 🍦 soft-serve was very interesting. It had hints of tomato, basil pesto, and olive oil. It alomsted tasted like a sweet pizza sauce. This was very creative. It was worth a try (but I probably won't order it again). Definitely worth it. And the soft-serve portiks were BIG. Caffe Panna's soft-serve is hollowed out. So there no ice crema ok the middle. But Lisbonata's soft-serve is packed tight to the brim. The Portuguese tarts were custardy and decadent but weren't too rich. The crust was flaky but held the custard pretty well. All the flavors were excelly; original, yuzu, pistachio, and salted caramel. Service was prompt and on point. Smaller menu allows them to move quickly and concentrate on every soft-serve special which were all excellent. The lines in Caffe Panna is in part due to larger

Worth a visit when u r in the area. ✨Egg tart was small but good. It was served cool and the filling was almost like to liquid cream. Not much flavor from the salted caramel flavor but the egg tart itself was delicious.

It’s the Summer of Softserve in NYC in 2026 and Lisbonata’s ube with mango and sticky rice is at the top of the list. Rarely am I interested in waiting on a line, but it’s so worth it. It was heavenly. I also bought some pasteles but haven’t tried… I suspect they are also yum!

I had their pasteis de nata back when Lisbonata was at Smorgasburg, before they opened their brick-and-mortar store in Crown Heights. Now they keep dropping wild seasonal flavors like mango sticky rice, dubai chocolate, and ube cheesecake. But this limited-time black sesame menu felt like it was made for me!! *Black sesame pastel de nata $5.5 The figs add a burst of sweetness, while the burnt honey brings out the roasted, nutty black sesame with a toasty caramel note. The custard is literally overflowing! *Black sesame soft serve $12 Sweet, jammy figs are such a good match for the nutty black sesame flavored soft serve. I’ve never seen a black sesame + fig combo before and it worked surprisingly well. *Black sesame latte $8 They even have a black sesame latte with rich black sesame paste swirled in! It’s more coffee-forward but you can still taste the black sesame.
